Frequently Asked Questions

Not at all. Our standard in-store trials and community Host experiences are completely free. If you decide later that you'd like to join a specialized outdoor hiking camp or rent a unit to take home, there might be a deposit or activity fee involved, but your guide will be happy to walk you through those options when the time comes.

You'll want to plan for about 15 to 20 minutes. This gives us plenty of time to get you fitted, walk you through the basics of how the exoskeleton works, and let you get a real feel for moving around in it.

Just wear something comfortable! We highly recommend your favorite activewear or casual clothes that let you move easily. (Pro-tip: skip the skirts or super wide-leg pants so nothing gets caught in the hardware).

For your feet, please wear sneakers, hiking boots, or flat, closed-toe shoes. For your own safety, we won't be able to let you try the gear if you show up in heels, sandals, or flip-flops.

Hypershell is incredibly adjustable and built to accommodate a wide variety of body types. To make sure you get the best, most comfortable fit possible, we do have standard height and weight recommendations. Just share your measurements with us when you book, and your Host or store guide will tailor the device to fit your frame perfectly.

Your safety and comfort always come first. If you feel any pinching, joint pressure, dizziness, or just feel tired, stop moving right away and tell your guide. Our gear is equipped with quick-release buckles, so we can help you safely slip out of the exoskeleton in about three seconds.

If you're visiting one of our official retail stores, definitely ask the staff about their current purchase options. If you're testing it out with a community Host, please note that they cannot sell you a unit directly or take your payment. We highly recommend placing your order directly on our official website.

Terms & Conditions of Experience

1. Eligibility and Medical Disclaimer
Hypershell products are designed strictly for general recreational, outdoor, and occupational use; they are expressly not classified as medical devices. The Company makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding medical diagnosis, treatment, or rehabilitation. By participating in this experience, the User affirms that they possess the requisite physical fitness to safely operate the equipment. Individuals with pre-existing injuries, mobility impairments, or chronic health conditions are solely responsible for evaluating their physical state and must consult a licensed medical professional prior to participation.

2. Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability
The User acknowledges that the Hypershell experience involves physical exertion and the operation of mechanical equipment, which inherently carries risks of personal injury, property damage, or unforeseen complications. The User expressly and voluntarily assumes all such risks. By participating, the User agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Hypershell, its affiliates, employees, and designated Hosts from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising directly or indirectly from the experience. The User is obligated to cease use immediately if they experience any adverse physical symptoms. All trials must be conducted in an approved, safe, and controlled environment.

3. Equipment Care and Authorized Use
The exoskeleton and any related accessories provided are strictly for on-site trial purposes. The User agrees not to remove the equipment from the designated trial vicinity, transfer possession to unauthorized third parties, or utilize the equipment in untested or high-risk environments without explicit prior authorization from Hypershell. The User acknowledges that they may be held liable for intentional damage, gross negligence, or unauthorized modifications resulting in equipment degradation.

4. Host Identity and Transactional Limitations
"Hypershell Experience Hosts" are independent, vetted product users and are expressly not agents, employees, dealers, medical consultants, or official sales representatives of Hypershell. Hosts are strictly prohibited from processing financial transactions, managing inventory, or providing official warranties, refunds, or after-sales support on behalf of the Company. All binding purchases and official support inquiries must be executed exclusively through the official Hypershell website. While Hosts may utilize affiliate links—whereby purchases made via said links may result in a promotional commission for the Host—the transactional and legal relationship remains exclusively between the User and Hypershell.

5. Service Availability and Scheduling
The submission of an "Experience Request" constitutes a non-binding inquiry and does not guarantee the provision of a trial. Hypershell reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to approve, deny, or modify requests based on geographical availability, scheduling constraints, safety conditions, and Host capacity.

6. Data Privacy and Information Sharing
User data submitted during the request process will be collected, processed, and stored in accordance with Hypershell's Privacy Policy. By submitting a request, the User explicitly consents to the transmission of their basic contact and physical scheduling information to their matched Host solely for the purpose of facilitating the requested experience.

7. Media Release
Subject to the User’s explicit verbal or written consent at the time of the experience, Hypershell staff or designated Hosts may capture photographic or video media of the User. The User retains the right to decline recording or request the immediate deletion of such media at any time without penalty.
