Meet an Experience Host
Frequently Asked Questions
Not at all. Our standard in-store trials and community Host experiences are completely free. If you decide later that you'd like to join a specialized outdoor hiking camp or rent a unit to take home, there might be a deposit or activity fee involved, but your guide will be happy to walk you through those options when the time comes.
You'll want to plan for about 15 to 20 minutes. This gives us plenty of time to get you fitted, walk you through the basics of how the exoskeleton works, and let you get a real feel for moving around in it.
Just wear something comfortable! We highly recommend your favorite activewear or casual clothes that let you move easily. (Pro-tip: skip the skirts or super wide-leg pants so nothing gets caught in the hardware).
For your feet, please wear sneakers, hiking boots, or flat, closed-toe shoes. For your own safety, we won't be able to let you try the gear if you show up in heels, sandals, or flip-flops.
Hypershell is incredibly adjustable and built to accommodate a wide variety of body types. To make sure you get the best, most comfortable fit possible, we do have standard height and weight recommendations. Just share your measurements with us when you book, and your Host or store guide will tailor the device to fit your frame perfectly.
Your safety and comfort always come first. If you feel any pinching, joint pressure, dizziness, or just feel tired, stop moving right away and tell your guide. Our gear is equipped with quick-release buckles, so we can help you safely slip out of the exoskeleton in about three seconds.
If you're visiting one of our official retail stores, definitely ask the staff about their current purchase options. If you're testing it out with a community Host, please note that they cannot sell you a unit directly or take your payment. We highly recommend placing your order directly on our official website.
