Extend hiking ranch

Purchased for my wife to extend her walking distance due to weak knee. Said the device did boost her energy to hike longer time.

Excellent customer service.

I want to express my appreciation to Hypershell for their excellent customer service. They were always prompt and courteous in responding to my inquiries. Although, due to my underlying disability, I was unable to benefit from the exoskeleton in the way I had hoped, the team was extremely helpful in guiding me through the return process and readily honored their policy without hesitation.

The product itself is very innovative and impressive, and I can see how it would be of great value to many users. While it did not work for my particular circumstances, I have nothing but positive things to say about both the quality of the device and the professionalism of the company.

Very cool thing!

I tested the Hypershell X Carbon today. I use it in my work as a parcel delivery driver. It works quite well. Even sitting in the car works. However, one important feature is missing: assistance when lifting parcels from a squatting position. From an ergonomic point of view, parcels should not be lifted while bending over, but using your knees. I can't see any reason why this shouldn't work. If you were to incorporate this feature, you would have a runaway success in my industry!

The effect of providing assistance is good

The effect of providing assistance is good, but it will rub against the thighs. It is not yet certain whether long-term use will cause abrasions.

Hassle-free multi-battery charging
Handy to be able to charge multiple batteries separate from the exoskeleton.

Handy to be able to charge multiple batteries separate from the exoskeleton.
Its a pity Hypershell does not supply the actual high power charging block, but the internet provides.

So far so good.

So far so good. I am currently undergoing chemotherapy, which leaves me very weak and lacking in stamina. Using the Hypershell has definitely helped,. I can walk faster and further with this device and is definitely a boon going uphill.

Solid Performance…so far

So far, I’m very impressed. I purchased the Hypershell exoskeleton to help extend my time and mobility in the outdoors. Having had back surgery 10 years ago and now in my 50s, I was looking for something that could give me more longevity while fly fishing and hiking—and this has delivered.

On my very first hike, I managed 8.5 miles with 1,800 feet of elevation gain—something I never could have achieved without the extra support this exoskeleton provides. Even at 6’7”, it fits well and gives me an incredible amount of stability and assistance.

The only drawback I’ve noticed so far is the charging time. If the battery is completely drained, it takes a solid six hours to fully recharge. Other than that, I’m extremely happy with the performance. I’m hopeful it will prove to be just as resilient in wet conditions as it is in dry.

One of the most impressive features is the built-in AI—it’s pretty remarkable how naturally it anticipates and responds to your movements. Overall, this has been a game-changer for me in the outdoors.

I am amazed with this piece of equipment

I am amazed with this piece of equipment.
I have SPMS (secondary progressive Multiple Sclerosis) and my Neuro Physio offhandedly mentioned a video he had seen in one of our sessions. I watched a few videos and ended up ordering the Hypershell Carbon X version.
The first time I used the unit it allowed me to go 4 times as far in half the time.
We were gobsmacked 😶
It obviously does nothing to help my horrendous balance, in fact it makes it worse because it is initiating me to walk faster, but the way the unit guides your legs actually helps to correct/control my gait. I use forearm crutches for my balance. The feature that allows you to be able to adjust the power assist to one side more than the other is amazing. I have issues with my left leg so this feature almost gets me to a equal walking stride.
I am excited to see where I will be in 6-12 months from now. it’s a power assist for the legs just like an e-bike. The user still has to initiate the movement so you are still working but you are not wasting all of your energy on the movement,

So impressed with this device.
It is rare that proposed technology works so effectively in reality.
Love love love.

Initial short trial is promising

Initial short trial is promising. Will not have a good chance to test it until October on hunting trip. The instructions for the operation of the mode selection needs to be refined.

It is a brilliant concept

It is a brilliant concept, superbly made. It is, however, meant for fit, athletic, hill walkers rather than people of limited mobility, like me. So it is heavy because it needs to be strong.. If you could create a lighter, less obtrusive version for use unless challenging conditions I would buy it because this one has value, even for me at 92, in helping me to become more mobile.

Underweight fellow loving them.

I am underweight from malnutrition, Im a picky eater and i dont do much to really fix it, So its my fault, HOWEVER. Whenever i do want to go out with friends or family to do something productive for a change, I throw on the hypershell Pro X, And once i turn it on i sort of just forget its there

When you are using the Hypershell, It tries to learn your gait and match your timing, This leads to it feeling like you arent actually getting any assistance from it, But i assure you that no matter what you THINK when you first wear it, it is ABSOLUTELY assisting you

As for weight when powered off, Its really negligible, I carry a 6 lb belt setup every day so i might be biased, But its seriously like it isnt even there, No pressure points (Atleast for me since im very small) and its padding is more than adequate anyways.

I am a Male, 5'10.5, And 115 lbs, If this helps with sizing.

Final trailing thoughts on it, I think 1100 is too expensive, And it can have hiccups from time to time with movement, Sometimes it will oppose you at random seemingly, No clue why i guess it just gets tripped up if you dont walk quite right, but its RARE, It doesnt happen too often and when it does, It isnt really a burden i would say, It sorts itself out rather quickly, If i had my choice of pricing i would place the Pro X at the 650 - 800 USD range, But i dont have a clue what they cost to produce so thats just brainstorming.

If you think it will help you, OR you think you will use it, Its worth getting just because theres no other option, Nothing about the product really stands out as poorly made or not well thought out, Im just putting in criticisms wherever i can, With that in mind i think you can deduce that its an excellent piece of tech.

P.S. About the video (If it displays, I did provide a link) I did re-test the running again a week later, And had about the same result, With or without stopping to gawk at the cows towards the end, I was about the same level of fatigued/winded at the end, Dont bother giving criticisms on the video because i know just as well as you do that it sucks, Lol

Really pleased with how good these are

Really pleased with how good these are. The reduction in effort while not obvious makes a huge difference and has allowed me to do much more than I was previously able to do. I’m very grateful to the team who developed the hypershell. I know not designed for those with reduced mobility but in the right situation they have been a life changer

Life changing device for those with MS

Life changing device for those with MS. Can tend to move awkwardly if I turn to the side to take a step, but this device has helped me walk up a mountain near my home and back which I could lot have done for several years. It would be great if the app ‘learned’ my gait a bit and helped me adjust to have a more normal gait, but perhaps a future update. 🙂
