Hypershell X Pro
Trägersystem

Hallo, bisher habe ich hypershell erst zwei Mal getestet. Insgesamt bin kch gut damit zurecht gekommen. Allerdings ist der Sitz des Geräts nicht sicher. Es hat die Tendenz, nach unten abzurutschen. Ein Tragesystem mit Trägern über die Schulter sollte ergänzt werden.

This was a well thought out and well constructed device

This was a well thought out and well constructed device. I am handicapped, unfortunately it was not for me. But if you’re a healthy person looking for a boost, I think you would be very pleased with the hypershell

Planned to do a lot of walking

Planned to do a lot of walking, and this got my attention. It kept me going longer and farther, but kept me in shape as well by moving my body more!

Hypershell X Ultra
It works!

The device works fine, actually less aggressive than I had expected/feared. Shut-down using the right motor button didn't work... until it did. The app was a bit clunky, only showing the installation sequence and not the operational configuration... until it did.

But, as I said, the thing works and that is way more important than the teething problems. As someone with multiple lower-limb osteoarthritis, I just want an aid which will make long-distance walking easier - and the Hypershell Ultra does that (I recognise that it is not a medical device, and I didn't buy it for that).

I have a genetic condition and it affects my balance and walking

I have a genetic condition and it affects my balance and walking. I was convinced that the exoskeleton will not work for me but after I got used to it I find it really good and I use it everyday. It is not a medical device and it will not walk for you but for my situation it's suitable. Thank you

Quisiera saber dónde podría probarlo y comprarlo para mi madre aquí en Monterrey, nuevo León en México.

Gave me hiking back

I understand that hypershell is not a medical device. However as someone who is disabled as the result of a pretty serious motorcycle wreck. This device has given me the ability to do simple things like walk my dog without pain And more intense things like got me back into hiking. Walks and hikes that would previously be undoable, or would end in literal days of recovery, are achievable with a significant reduction in pain. If I am going on a hike or just going to be standing for a long period of time i have it on.

Good product

I'm impressed. But i dont appreciate mandatory using of the app. And hip belt comes loose all the time. I fixed this by adding quick cargo strap ( ziptie type ). In to same slots where orginal one is. It works better.

And crouching help would be appreciated. But i understand that would neen some staps in groing. Maybe accessory devise and update would do the trick

Simply the best! A life changer...

I know it's not for disability but having double hip impingements after a car accident and surgery way into the future. This wonderful device has given me the ability to move again. Going from 800 steps to over 8500 in just a few days has been mind blowing!

A game-changer for people with disabilities affecting the legs

I have a weak hip flexor on my right side, which affects my ability to lift my leg, making it quite challenging to walk upstairs or uphill. This limitation reduces how far I can walk or hike, and if I push too hard, it eventually leads to pain or even injury.

The Hypershell exoskeleton completely eliminates this limitation. I’ve turned it off on my good leg and set it to the lowest level on my weak leg, resulting in two legs that feel equal in strength. I can now climb stairs and walk up hills effortlessly, something I haven’t been able to do for years.

Although it’s not marketed as a medical device, once word gets out, I believe it will be a game-changer for people with disabilities like mine and even more severe conditions.

A Real Help for me

I have had the device a couple of months now, it took some time to get the fitment right, but I now find it very quick and easy to put on and it stays in place. I suffer from amyotrophy in my right leg and peripheral neuropathy in my left leg. My right leg is very weak and I developed drop foot, whilst I'm able to walk unaided I have a very pronounced limp and my right foot drags, i was also very wary of falling. With the device on I feel much more confident, my drop foot disappears completely and I feel like I'm walking normally, if I set the device to hypermode I can even break out into a slow jog. When I showed it to my Neuro Physio she immediately ordered one to use with her other clients/patients. I can now plan trips knowing that I'll be able to get around, using this device has really helped with my drop foot problem even when not wearing the device it is much better now so my anxiety about falling has almost gone away. I would definitely recommend if you have nerve or muscle weakness in your legs

X Pro gives new freedom!

We purchased the Hypershell X Pro in hopes it would enable my 63-year-old husband to walk more with less back pain. He’s used it four times already, for a moderate hike, a cavern tour, a day at an amusement park, and a neighborhood stroll. Prior to getting the X Pro, he couldn’t walk more than 100 yards because of lower back pain. Now he is eager to go places and do things he would have avoided before. We are overjoyed with the difference the X Pro makes!

Very good, definitely helps with injuries but not a miracle cure

I tried one couple of weeks ago,and was a little bit touch and go about it. Kelly ,the lovely girl who owned it and very kindly allowed me to try,had the one which I think is described as the eco one with four settings and slightly less powerful motors. It is hard to fully appreciate it in only a few minutes and it needs a day or two of experiments.

I am registered disabled as I was originally injured in the RAF and again when a motorcyclist in the police,I have damage to c7/8 in my neck,L4/5&S1 in my spine, severe damage to left knee and hip,but with walking slightly twisted have now damaged right hip and right knee. I have quite a lot of other injuries too,I always have to strap my legs and walking no matter how much is very painful to me,and using sticks or crutches hard as the neck damage affects my hands, which also have severe arthritis from damage due to my previous occupations and injuries. So,anything really that can help no matter how small,I have to look at.

I eventually, thought about the next model up,more powerful motors, more and stronger settings which I felt more beneficial, certainly as I’m heavier than Kelly,so hers is probably perfect for her,but I needed a bit more power for me. (I also looked at the models coming out for knees, but really needed one that could help lift my legs first although in all honesty I’d probably eventually need one that does both).

So,decided to buy the next model up,couldn’t afford the others and really couldn’t justify them anyway.

It took five days to get to me,it’s the one with two batteries and if you use the upper settings,it does get through them quickly. I’ve used it a few days now and I am getting happier with it. It really does help take weight off your legs when you walk,on the upper settings does make you feel like your marching, but is great for stairs and inclines.

I find it tends to balance me a little better, getting it to fit properly is important and you need to play about with the fittings.

I think what you really notice is when you take them off,I then you find how much help they do give.

I run mine in the hyper setting(red lights) a lot more assistance, but battery power used quicker, Just normal ambling about, probably the top eco setting is ok,but using stairs etc you will need the upper settings.

Batteries do take overnight to charge.NOT 90 minutes! You get a lead but not a charger,so maybe my charger which is use for my laptop is a bit weak,so may consider the multi charger they advertise. You also charge them in the machine,I’d certainly prefer to charge them out, hence the separate charger I suppose.

It is NOT a miracle machine,It will not help me ever get better,I still have severe pain, severe arthritis and find it hard to walk, but it helps and takes a lot of weight off. You have to be able to move your legs in a reasonably normal albeit not necessarily perfect motion ,as the motors/sensors pick up the small movement of your muscles to operate,if you have a leg that is basically dead and doesn’t move, they won’t work.

I couldn’t really afford them, but,I am seeing some benefit from the assistance and I think with the injuries I have, any benefit is better than nothing. There are some things I don’t like(battery charging mainly) but it will certainly be in the back of the car with me when I go out, making a difference whether I get out of the car with my wife or stay in it and wait and I hope to get to the motorcycle show this year as most probably they will help me walk a wee bit further than the tiny distances I have in the past few years or using a wheelchair. As I said, anything is better than nothing

I'll start with medical condition I have aquired It's called Ataxia

I'll start with medical condition I have aquired
It's called Ataxia, more specifically SCA4.Late onset basically cerebellum shrinking. Which controls motor functions, arms, legs, speach.
I purchased the xl pro with thoughts of becoming more mobil. I've had the unit for about 1 week and I am very impressed with the proformace it has shown. Still tweaking it to fit my needs and I'm sure I'll get there. Ive added a 3" locking tool belt at the waist and suspenders over the shoulder to hold it on firmly without slippage. I'll check in with you at the 6 month time frame with a more complete review. Though, 1 week in and I'm very impressed. Thank you
Kurt.

I use this device for walking 5+ miles

I use this device for walking 5+ miles. for that it seems great. it is particularly good for steep uphill. Not yet sure yet about how useful it is for down steep hills, as I suffer from arthritis of the knees. At the end of the day I definitely end up less tired. So, yes, its good for me and I can recommend it.
