I have a weak hip flexor on my right side, which affects my ability to lift my leg, making it quite challenging to walk upstairs or uphill. This limitation reduces how far I can walk or hike, and if I push too hard, it eventually leads to pain or even injury.

The Hypershell exoskeleton completely eliminates this limitation. I’ve turned it off on my good leg and set it to the lowest level on my weak leg, resulting in two legs that feel equal in strength. I can now climb stairs and walk up hills effortlessly, something I haven’t been able to do for years.

We purchased the Hypershell X Pro in hopes it would enable my 63-year-old husband to walk more with less back pain. It has helped me to perform better on the treadmill. I can actually get on the treadmill now when I couldn’t before.

I'll start with medical condition I have aquired
It's called Ataxia, more specifically SCA4.Late onset basically cerebellum shrinking. Which controls motor functions, arms, legs,speach.
I purchased the xl pro with thoughts of becoming more mobil. I've had the unit for about 1 week and I am very impressed with the proformace it has shown. Still tweaking it to fit my needs and I'm sure I'll get there. Ive added a 3" locking tool belt at the waist and suspenders over the shoulder to hold it on firmly without slippage. I'll check in with you at the 6 month time frame with a more complete review. Though, 1 week in and I'm very impressed. Thank you

It’sa life changing experience for anyone that has a disability that requires assistance walking. Stairs are no longer an obstacle. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a part of the walking community again. My only request is for the hypershell to help me stand from a sitting position.

The device has a lot of potential. I can say it does assist with knee/leg lifting and will apply pressure downward to stabilize. The only issue is fitment. It is really difficult to get the exoskeleton to fit and stay in place. It's always dropping to my knees instead of staying the 2 inches above as recommended.

My mother is 97 years old and walks with a walker because of bad knees. The Hypershell helps her walk normally. She couldn't believe how easy it was. It took about 15 minutes to adapt to it.

The only negative is that it can't seem to help her with stairs. The device reacts to your movement, however it seems that since she moves so slow on stairs, it doesn't recognize that she needs help.

Even with that negative, it has made a huge, positive impact.

I bought the exoskeleton because of my illness, adrenomyeloneuropathy. In general, I exercise and do rehabilitation regularly, but I feel that year after year I’m getting weaker. The quality of my gait is also deteriorating, as well as my overall confidence in my physical abilities.
At first, I set the exoskeleton to 100%, but that was definitely too much. Now I’m adapting to it and keeping it at 20% power in ECO mode. After some time, it sometimes feels like the device isn’t helping me at all—but when I turn it off, it feels as if weights were suddenly attached to my legs.
At my current stage of the disease, this type of device isn’t essential, but considering my passion for mountain hiking, it will definitely be very helpful.

Hypershell is an interesting tool. I find it is best for me on stairs and elevations. It helps lift my legs and does save some energy. I am dealing with some mobility issues due to an injury. I struggle to walk in general, especially on my right side. This helps a bit, but it weighs more than I expected so the weight offsets the advantage when it comes to simply walking. I found, like others, that I need to tighten and readjust the belt fairly often. I am continuing to get stronger as I heal and will be sure to update this review later. On a side note, I ordered the high end one and ordered the aeroflex belt, which is marketed as making it more comfortable. It turned out, my model already came with it. It was a $199 accessory. The company ended up refunded me for the return. I was very happy their customer service.

I have a rare issue called Polymyositis. When it flaresup, it can cause severe muscle weakness. I have dayswe're walkingcan be a challenge. I purchased the Hypershell X Pro in hopes that on my bad days it would help. So far, I can say that I have been really impressed. It has really been a big help. I am very impressed with it. Very well build. It fits very comfortably and at times you can even forget that it is there. On Eco mode, it is not intrusive at all and you barely notice it helping, but it is. I have only had it for about a month now, but really recommend it.

Good product,it help when you walking. I wish the back part with battery is little bit smaller so people would not stare at you but it is ok. It is nit heavy so it is helpful. I don't know how it will work for older people but i am satisfied

I bought this to assist with my walking after having 5 back operations and 2 full hip replacements. I was not able to go to the shops or walk lanywhere basically. I have only had this on once for a trip to the shops and I can truly say that it made the trip more bearable. I will still try it at the office.
