I have ME/CFS and if you can still walk for 10 or more minutes outside, this can extend how far you can walk and if you still only walk 10 minutes you can get further and use less energy. Only negative is that you need to use a should harness OR a belt to keep it high on your hip and that is not included

78 year old with adult onset muscular dystrophy with quadriceps weakness and foot drop, having more difficulty with walking long distances and stairs. Used Hypershell now for about 1 month typically in Ecomode at 50% power while walking. Probably walking about double the distance with device from 1 mile to 2-3 miles. Also helpful on stairs. Also I am a tennis player and considering trying on the court but still getting used to device before trying it during this type of activity. Not sure how device will respond to quick changes in direction.

My belt kept sliding down when I walked, so I bought suspenders. They work great now.

This thing has given me back my life.

Ich habe Multiple Sklerose und durfte das Hypershell in meiner Physiotherapie testen.
Ich war davor total skeptisch aber die ersten Schritte waren der absolute Wahnsinn!!!
Normalerweise bin ich auf Rollator und Rollstuhl angewiesen aber mit dem Hypershell konnte ich die ersten Schritte mit Stöcken sogar im Gelände wagen, ich weiss, es ist kein medizinisches Produkt, ich würde aber jede raten es zu testen, wenn er die Möglichkeit bekommt!!! Selbst eine Bekannte von mir (MS und Ergotherapeutin) war begeistert und hat es bestellt!! Ohne meine Physio-Praxis hätte ich davon nie erfahren, ich bin aber überglücklich damit!!!

Ich bin durch Influencer auf Instagram angefixt worden und bereue es nicht.
Schon immer bin ich ich viel gelaufen, meistTrail - aber immer für mich!
Nach mehreren COVID 19 Infektionen war aber irgendwann die Luft raus. 50% LAD-Stenose, Lungenemphysem und dazu mittlerweile 59 Jahre alt waren weitere limitierende Faktoren. Walking Poles haben mir geholfen wieder einen Einstieg in Bewegung allgemein zu bekommen. Aber Hypershell ist für der ultimative Gamechanger!
Nach knapp 80.000 Schritten und über 1600 HM in weniger als 2 Wochen denke ich eine erste Einschätzung/Bewertung abgeben zu können.
Die Unterstützung ist deutlich spürbar, ich laufe Distanzen bis 10 km und 275 HM wie vor 10 Jahren ohne Poles und ohne Pausen bis zu 3-4 x die Woche. Das meiste davon im Ecomodus zwischen 30-65% Support mit AI Erkennung des Laufstils.
Die vollständig auf Deutsch verfügbare App finde ich sehr gut gemacht, die Steuerung mit der Apple Watch klappt super und ist ein tolles Add-On. OK, altersbedingt brauch ich eine Lesehilfe bei Verwendung der AW. Aber ich hab eh meistens eine Gleitsichtbrille auf.
Die App hilft sehr ausführlich durch den Anpassungsprozess, ich persönlich musste den Hüftgurt enger stellen da er beim Downhill anfing zu rutschen. Seitdem sitzt der Gurt angenehm aber fest genug. Ich habe sehr viel Vertrauen in die verbauten Motoren und in die angewendete Technik- wo ich Bedenken habe ist der Kunststoffverschluss des Hüftgurts, der schon recht stramm angezogen werden muss um Rutschen zu verhindern. Hier überlege ich an einem keinesfalls zu schweren Back-Ups, z. B. einem zweiten Gurtsystems.

Einmal bereits bin ich mit dem System gestürzt konnte aber keine Störungen oder Beschädigungen feststellen. (Sturz auf Schnee, Downhill).
Ich habe mir das aktuelle High-End Modell X-Ultra gegönnt und bereue es bis heute nicht. Ich würde es immer wieder kaufen sollte es einmal unwiederbringlich kaputt sein.
Den Support habe ich nur positiv erlebt. Anfangs war ich skeptisch ob ich gescamt wurde da sich nach der Bestellung und Paypalzahlung nichts mehr tat. Im Nachhinein denke ich das die Anzahl der Bestellungen die Logistik überfordert hat.
Die Ausstattung mit zwei Akkus ist gut, Laden außerhalb des Systems wäre eine sinnvolle Verbesserung. Ich würde mich auch freuen, wenn ich den Akku während des Laufens mit einer PD Powerbank on the fly laden könnte. Vielleicht kommt das mit einem zukünftigen SW Update.

I use the device in my frequent walks and I find it easy to use and based on my condition, it helps my walking ability. While the power switch is difficult to see/use, I’m not as concerned about the position since I’ve connected the unit to the iPhone app, which is really easy to use and to adjust the power settings. While, I have not tried to scale mountains yet, my overall impression is favorable and would recommend it to others that need “some” assistance in walking.

The Hypershell X Ultra exceeded expectations. I definitely felt the additional support and power smartly balanced by its own system. Use is very safe. In fact, my medical doctor wife had senior citizens family and friends try it and they were all impressed. I will definitely get another unit. Only issue I had was the late delivery due to high demand which HyperShell explained/updated about pending delivery. Again, this is definitely worth it.

I am so far very pleased with the Hypershell X Pro. It aappears to be a well made product. My use so far has been limited to a few trial walks and while using a stationary bicycle. I am impressed with the various ajustments available on the app.
There have been one feature that I wish could be somehow adapted to the device and that is to assist me to rise from a seated position. I do realize that this has not been certified as a medical device and that it is not built or intended to be used for that purpose although there are many purchasers like me who bought this X Pro to assist me to walk with a medical disability. I felt that this is a device that will enable me to walk further and possibly to aid in challenges I face with weak leg muscles caused by the disease Inclusion Body Myosistis.My experience so far is that it is a definite help with walking and some limited assistance with stair climbing. I do not blame the device but rather my disability that disappointed me to find that it hasn't quite enough power to help me in this function. Perhaps in the future as the technology improves a future edition of Hypershell with enable me to rise from a chair and climb stairs more easily. In the meantime I will get great enjoyment from the X Pro. I have no regrets in making the purchase.

This fabulous invention propels my legs! I am shocked at the power it gives me. I suffer with drop foot, nerve damage and extreme fatigue. Just call me the Bionic Woman!

I didn’t charge the batteries before testing it outdoors (not the smartest idea, I know), so I brought a spare battery with me just in case. The swapping process took me a moment to figure out, but after that it was fine.

Before using the HyperShell Ultra, I used to deal with a lot of discomfort — especially in my lower back, legs, and neck — and deep fatigue after longer walks. With this device, that changed. I felt tired, yes, but not the same kind of exhaustion that stops you from continuing. No pain, no heaviness, no feeling like I had to turn back.

I walked 10 km on a snow-covered trail, and it honestly felt like walking on a sidewalk. I’ve never walked this fast in snow. The elevation support made the biggest difference — normally that’s where my body works the hardest, but pressing the boost button when I needed it helped a lot.

My plan is to wear it under my clothes eventually. I didn’t buy this to impress anyone — I bought it so I could keep being active, go further, and live my life the way I want.

The HyperShell Ultra is already changing things for me in a positive way. I know I’ll be going outside more often now, especially for longer hikes or trails I wouldn’t attempt before.

One question:
Do you plan to develop an upper-body version or support system in the future?
I think a lot of people, including me, would find that helpful.

This device means more to me than just technology.

It gives me freedom, and freedom feels different when I didn’t always have it.

My son bought hypershell X because he has medical problems and his legs we’re giving him a lot of pain and weakness the hypershell X has made a great difference and he’s loving his new legs

Mir hilft das Gerät beim Arbeiten, ich bin Alpaka Züchter und biete Wanderungen mit Lamas und Alpakas gleich bei Wien an. Da gehe ich oft vier Stunden, mit diesem ExoSkelett fühlt es sich wie zwei Stunden an.

Ich habe Post-Covid, ME/CFS und kann mit dem Hypershell im Rahmen meiner Baseline nun etwas weiter gehen. Das tut gut! Man muss aufpassen vor lauter Leichtigkeit, zu weit zu gehen. Es steigert den Radius um ca 50%, also von 800 Meter auf 1200. Da lohnt sich ein Gang in den Wald durchaus. ;-)

Hallo, bisher habe ich hypershell erst zwei Mal getestet. Insgesamt bin kch gut damit zurecht gekommen. Allerdings ist der Sitz des Geräts nicht sicher. Es hat die Tendenz, nach unten abzurutschen. Ein Tragesystem mit Trägern über die Schulter sollte ergänzt werden.

This was a well thought out and well constructed device. I am handicapped, unfortunately it was not for me. But if you’re a healthy person looking for a boost, I think you would be very pleased with the hypershell

Planned to do a lot of walking, and this got my attention. It kept me going longer and farther, but kept me in shape as well by moving my body more!

The device works fine, actually less aggressive than I had expected/feared. Shut-down using the right motor button didn't work... until it did. The app was a bit clunky, only showing the installation sequence and not the operational configuration... until it did.

But, as I said, the thing works and that is way more important than the teething problems. As someone with multiple lower-limb osteoarthritis, I just want an aid which will make long-distance walking easier - and the Hypershell Ultra does that (I recognise that it is not a medical device, and I didn't buy it for that).
